About Me

 

I was born in Colombo, Sri Lanka, in 1984, and had my primary and secondary education at Ananda College, Colombo. I entered University of Moratuwa for my undergraduate studies in 2004, and I graduated with a B.Sc. degree in engineering from the Department of Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering in 2008. I received the award for the most outstanding undergraduate student of the university upon graduation. I entered the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, University of Melbourne, Australia, for my postgraduate studies in 2009 and completed my Ph.D. in 2012. I worked as a Research Fellow at the Department of Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering, Monash University, Australia, from 2012 to 2014, before returning to Sri Lanka in December 2014. I have been with the Department of Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering, University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka, since then, serving as a Senior Lecturer. I have also been appointed as an Honorary Fellow of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, University of Melbourne, Australia, since 2016.
